Hi, need a little help. My daughter just moved to Tucson for work. I have her guns here in CT. Anyone know a good shop to ship them through? Also, any info on what she'll need to buy firearms in AZ would help. I'm assuming no ban rules in AZ. I'll be shipping her her AR, FAL, and a shotgun. I'll need info before sending her handguns. Thanks for any help!

I use The Armory on Pima, they don't charge NEARLY as much as others in town (like those clowns up there ^ ) and they aren't a bunch of pushy gun nazi's either.

If she is on the NW side I would suggest Steven Shipman at lowcostguns.com.  I
have used Steven for several transfers without problem.  He charges $25 per
transfer.  $15 if you have a CCW permit.
AZ is a very firearm friendly state.  As long as you follow federal regs you should
be go to go.  She should get an AZ drivers license before transfering a handgun to
her here I think..
Hope this helps.

Two rifles and a shotgun should not need an FFL at all.  She can UPS ground them to herself (c/o a friend if necessary) at whatever her new addy in AZ will be

From the horse's mouth
Q: May a nonlicensee ship firearms interstate for his or her use in hunting or other lawful activity?
Yes. A person may ship a firearm to himself or herself in care of another person in the State where he or she intends to hunt or engage in any other lawful activity. The package should be addressed to the owner. Persons other than the owner should not open the package and take possession of the firearm
.

Also of possible interest:

Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by common or contract carrier?
A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by a common or contract carrier to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm and prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm.

I pretty sure she doesn't need to do it through an FFL. If she really wants to there are numerous FFL's that can do it.

ETA: To purchase guns no special permits etc are needed. She does need to be a resident of AZ to buy a handgun.

Shout out to Defensive Arms and Ammo on Pima St. across the way from 2nd Amendment and The Armory.
Transfer fee = $15.00
Been using them for awhile now (when they used to be Pima Guns).
They're not open on Mondays but other than that nice guys that work there and good service.

She's really cute and very smart, of course I'm biased, I'm her Dad. She also has two mean dogs, a bad temper, and has been shooting since she was eight.

What side of town is she on... There is an FFL on the west side here that is good and has always done right by me.  If you do decide to go through an FFL (not a bad idea just in case) she will need a drivers license with her current address on it for the paperwork.  I should also ask how is she getting here?  She could bring them with her...
