Peetmoss-I have seen flyers for a NRA instructor in the Syracuse area, there is a flyer in the Oswego County Clerk's office. They would probably give you the number if you called (it's on the bulletin board that is near the cash registers) or I will try to remember to write it down. I could ask about him with a couple of guys who might know his background. I have no formal training and am not overly interested in a "this is a revolver" course but I do need a course to pick up non-resident permits from other states that I want so I have sort of been keeping an eye out. What kind of course are you looking for? A basic course (ie proper sight picture, trigger control etc) or more advanced (moving while shooting etc)? I don't know of anything other than the basic NRA type courses around here. |

Aimless I am looking for a basic course. Proper sight picture trigger control and someone to show me what I am doing wrong. But I am also not interested in the real basic this is a revolver kinda class. I do know of one guy but I was kinda hoping not to use this guy. I really don't like him. He taught my basic coarse for my permit in Onondaga County. |
