Appleseed is going to be at the Pioneer Gun Club Oct 12-13 near Holden. Another year gone and I haven't bought a Ruger 10-22 yet.

I will repeat my standing offer to loan my Ruger 10/22 LTR to anyone who wants to to attend an Appleseed shoot. It has the needed sights & sling and I will loan you magazines too. Just buy a couple 375rd boxes of Federal AutoMatch ammo (its preferred load) and you are SET! Contact me to arrange the loan. I was able to earn the patch on the first try with this rifle.  |

About how many rounds does one go through at one of these? Depends on the shooters, actually. Bare minimum is going to be about 250, if people are cranking through AQTs on the second day it can easily go to 750+. High round count when I was instructing was just shy of 1,000 - we had six experienced shooters who weren't spending time farting around between strings of fire. |
