[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Appleseed Question

I am very interested on attending the Appleseed shoot at Buffalo Rock in two weeks. Problem is I can only attend on Sunday. Is Sunday a repeat of what they teach on Saturday or is it new information......Thanks!

I'm pretty sure there is different stuff each day. I don't think the days are interchangeable, i.e. the same.

if you go to the webiste it is either a 2 day or you can go either sat or sunday,

kinda confusing but they have slots for both or just one of the days

on their site, they seemed to emphasize having a sling. I don't currently have one for my AR, and when I do get one, it's going to be a VTAC mounted in a way that its not going to be a bit useful for support. They going to have an issue with that?

They are around four bucks at the Appleseed website.

Ya may want to get one just to have for the class. It will help lock in your shooting position if you use the technique we are going to learn.

Yes get a sling it makes a world of difference! My son improved impressively when he started using the sling (the right way) at the last appleseed in Bloomington.
