I attended one held at DARC a few years ago. Bring your A game of you expect to earn a patch. The course of fire looks simplistic, but it isn't. Have your rifle dialed in and ready to rock. Bring a cooler with water/ drink of choice and a couple of lawn chairs. Sunblock and skeeter dope are good to have. A good sling is a must as well as a good shooting mat. Bring an extra rifle and gear as there are newbs that won't be dialed in but worthy of assistance. I plan to attend if at all possible. |
