| I want to do some mag dumps to test the feeding of some different HP ammo in a new pistol up at the fish camp in Ocala NF this weekend. It is private property within the confines of the NF. Can I just shoot directly into the ground at a slight angle a few feet in front of me? It's just soft sand. |
| Or you could buy one of those blue plastic 55 gallon drums, fill it with water and shoot into the water. Hollow points shouldn't pass through all of the water, top to bottom and exit the barrel. Then you could also recover the rounds and check out the expansion. |
