| I will be heading to DC in Nov on Veterans Day for a parade and want to carry an 18" ASP baton for protection. Are ASP's prohibited in DC? It's either carry that or some OC, I am NOT going without some form of protection. Thanks in advance. |

Yes. D.C. Circuit: BATON IN SUSPECT'S VAN IS REASON FOR ARREST This case may not be germain. I'm Googlin' for my life but Parker has swamped all my searches. Pretty much everything is illegal in DC. That said, you will need a self defense weapon. Just keep it on the down-low.  Colonel Hurtz |
| Oh trust me, it will be kept very well concealed, I have been downtown DC many times, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is where we will be going and then to a parade for Vietnam Veterans. But, I like to make sure that in case something does happen I can defend myself then beat feet!! |
