[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Arfcom shoot?

Eques and I were wondering if there was a chance of having a arfcom shoot in the next month.
We would be willing to go. There has not been a shoot in awhile I just figured we could get
one in before it gets cold out.

For those that went to the dinner Eques was the guy with a sling.
I was the kid sitting next to him.

We have done shoots at the Yellowstone Lake State Park range also.
That was in the winter, though.

I'll cast a vote for 'closer to Milwaukee'

Maybe, if we get enough members (I'm inactive, I think), the 'range that does not like to be talked about online' (commonly referred to by the road it's on... In the Racine/MKE area)???

Count me in for Shiocton. I will see what Sunday Henry and Chris may be available. Don't forget about the Appleseed in Long Lake September 13th-14th also.

I'll set up a poll tonight. So far the options are:
Shiocton, the range that must not be named,
and the Yellowstone Lake State Park range.
If they are any others post them.

A shoot is what you make it. Turnout was exceptionally low. Fail to plan and you plan to fail. If you are looking for an orgasmic shoot, then we will have to coordinate things instead of just picking a date and "hoping" everyone shows.

I voted Shiocton, Its the only range listed that I've been to. I wouldn't mind trying out a new one though, I'm in the middle of the ranges listed, so distance doesn't matter.

The 30th or the 31st work? Otherwise there is the 6th and 7th of Sept. These dates are weekends.

ETA: We have to decide between Shiocton or Yellowstone state park range. Unless we can shoot at flamethrowers range which would probaly work out best.

Where are these ranges I have not heard of them(besides on here)....Probably because I live in the Milwaukee area and if they were close enough I would probably drive out.

I am scheduled to work nights on the 10th (get off @ 6:30AM on th 11th), so if I would make it it would not be until later in the day. I am off the 11th and 12th though, so the 12th would be better for me personally.

With the last minute Appleseed shoot being scheduled that weekend at Lodi, I will not make Shiocton on the 12th. If you have never been to an Appleseed, I highly recommend you come see what it is all about.
