All I want when I wake up in the morning is to take a hot shower. Our water heater started leaking sometime last night and it extinguished the burner (I guess that's a lucky thing). Because of the home warranty company, we wont be able to get it replaced until, hopefully, this Friday. |

I would be surprised if they replace it. If they do it will be the absolute cheapest, most inefficient, wouldn't even be used by a slum lord, replacement possible The guy who came out said they use the same kind of water heaters that I've already got and we'll end up probably saving $300 to $400 using the home warranty verses just hiring a plumber straight up. |

]check out craigs list, there were some really cheap ones on there

| Good news! We are only having to pay $300 out-of-pocket to everything brought up to code (right now the existing water heater is on a pedestal and it needs to be placed on the floor and everything else needs plumbed down onto it). So by tomorrow evening, I'll be taking showers at home again! |
