Make sure you have ALL the parts necessary before attempting to assemble your lower.
So I have had this Lower that I lucked into at the HTF shoot last year at Sharpshooters taunting me in my safe for almost a year and a Spikes enhanced LPK for probably 6 months. Tonight the urge over came me to assemble these components. I also had a spare cheap buffer tube, stock, spring and buffer from my first build lying around so I figure I'm gtg right??? Fast forward 45 min and I'm now frustrated because I don't have a castle nut or the end plate(which I forgot I used on another AR) so I cant install the take down pin or the buffer retainer.
So now I Have the overwhelming urge to pick up the missing pieces so I can finish the thing and herein lies the problem. There is only one store I know that has a nearly complete selection of parts and that is Bullseye in Lawrenceville. I have family in town and I can't really justify a 2plus hour round trip for $11 worth of parts. I don't know If Firingline, The Survival Store (both20 min away) or Cherokee Pawn (30 minutes away) have complete stock kits or if they just have the stocks. As far as I know none of them stock just the castle nut and end plate. I really have the itch to finish this lower tomorrow but I don't want to drive all over the metro area to find the parts I need. I may just have to suck it up and order on line and wait till the end of the week to finish the lower. One other thing I found out. The BAD-ASS is cool however.... I either need to adjust my grip or find a short lever for the right side as my hand keeps the selector from freely dropping to fire |

When I go to open in a few hours I'll let you know what we got.
Gentleman left an end plate in the shop that you can have, but I have to find it. If I can't find that one, I know I have one at my mom's house that I can grab for you after I close up today. As for castle nut, I only got 'em in kits. |

But if Larue can find my end plate feel free to take it. |
