I hope they stomp the shit out of the Packers and wipe that smirk off Rodgers face.
But, alas, all the talking heads have proclaimed him to be great and the Falcons as not so great and thusly the Packers will beat the Falcons on Saturday.
At least we don't have to worry about the Eagles coming here and seeing all the morons in their Vick jersies. And if you don't care about pro football, fine, I don't give a hoot.

Atlanta is the worst sports town in the United States, so many folks moved down here after the Olympics and kept their allegiance to their teams. Remember the MLB divisional playoffs a few years back? There were more Cubs fans at Turner Field than Braves fans. It's disgusting. |

I have season tickets to the Thrashers and suffer through many games where the opposing team's fans are louder than the home team. The Falcons, however, bring in some serious fans. I expect the Dome to be very loud and very red on Saturday. It should be a tough place to play, as it has been all season. |

| Just had a free ticket come my way so I'm going. ESPN has to suck-off Green Bay and proclaim them winners already b/c they hope for a Chicago-GB NFC game. Major markets (even though GB isn't but their national fanbase makes it) sell more commercials to TV viewers. I like Matty Ice's home record and the Falcon's D-line against their QB and RB's. Home field advantage is crucial. Anyone else going? I hit up the $5 big beers at Phillips beforehand, which should be insane due to 1. the weather and 2. its Saturday night primetime. Rise Up! |

Only because they are winning The Falcons were selling out the stadium even when they totally sucked and I have been going to Falcons game since the early '70s. Kind of hard to do from down here though. |

I've been a Falcons fan since the original "Grits Blitz" team of the late 70s. Back when the only offense is one or two big passes from Bartkowski to one of the Alfred boys (Jackson and Jenkins). I even watched them when that criminal wearing number 7 was flipping the fans off.
I hope they win. |
