| Glad to see the dirty birds win their first game, especially over New Orleans. They looked sloppy in the first half, obviously still need some work on defense. Hard to believe Ryan set a franchise record for passing yards, seems like they have done more in the past but I don't follow the stats that close. Wonder how the falcons will ever get along if and when Matt Bryant retires, his foot has kept them in the mix more than any other player on the roster IMO. |

I'll say up front that I'm a fan of both football and the falcons.
Coming off of a year full of negatives for the team. First game facing not only a huge divisional rival but one of the Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The falcons get behind and look ineffective in the first quarter but are able pull themselves back into it and not just compete but win. It was a great game to watch as a fan of the sport and the team. As far as Matt Bryant is concerned he is a great kicker for the falcons and he is paid to do exactly what he's doing, make kicks to enable the falcons to win games. Sundays game would not have been won without the teams efforts up till the point of Bryant's kicks and vice versa. This season has a lot of promise for the falcons and I hope they do well. |
