I know the closer we are to Labor Day, the harder it is for folks to go. And, of course, more time to schedule, prepare, pack or make excuses also helps. So, chime in, comment, vote or cry cuz your parole officer won't let you go...
The theme, so to speak, will be 'minimalist'. A few of us are looking to make it easier for ourselves by lightening the load. No big chow wagon, no trailer (duh uh), just mostly guns/ammo/gear. Waddya think? |

I voted for August 2, 3, 4, and can’t change my vote on the poll. I have since learned that August 9, 10, 11 has fewer conflicts for me. I should be able make it either weekend, though. I do realize that it’s not possible to accommodate everyone, so don’t sweat it.

When at the pit we were getting good distance via simplex for those who wanted it. 146.52 is always on monitor in my truck. Same as with the Mic and key repeater K7LED. Not sure if that one may be too far away though. Likely @JoeDevola will have a good recommendation for a good repeater. |

I’m still trying to decide what to bring. Great chat with JD the other day. This will be a less is more event. I’ll bring some ammo for the Bobbity gun. And will likely bring a Historical BunnyGun.
Was hoping my B&T 308 cans would get their stamps approved before the event but hope is slim now. If they are approved I’ll make a trip up to Esstac to get them. The 4.75” 5.56 pistol will come with. I do need to dig through the ammo stash and find some more plinking ammo. I’m thinking I am starting to get low on 5.56 plinking ammo. I have a few guns that I am looking forward to running drills with. |

I'll bring the one that has the nice clean FMJ holes in it rather than the one with the horizontal slot half blasted off from a 150-grain Winchester XP bullet. That video is terrifying. That sheriff is a moron. The "reporter" is as well. Sure, there looks to be plenty of morons with guns up there. But, they don't represent shooters any more than drunk drivers represent car owners.
As to the lcr pit, we have been good stewards of that area for 24 years. |

I’m going to postpone coming down until tomorrow morning, for Saturday-Sunday instead of Friday-Saturday. It’s hot, and I would be hitting peak Tacoma/JBLM/Olympia traffic, adding an extra hour of driving time. Car is loaded up, ready to roll out first thing.

We have two toilets to rebuild and now a dryer to diagnose.
 . Since I take care of my mother on the weekdays I have to do this on Saturday and on Sunday I made a commitment.
