I'm hoping to find some surplus Steyr AUG magazines in Austria. Several years ago there was an Austrian milsurp website that was selling them, but I just can't seem to find it again. The laws haven't changed and put a stop to this sort of thing? How much do new factory magazines sell for in Austria?
Thanks very much. |
| Not from Austria but you might have some luck with the mil surp traders on Egun.de |

I would have thought that the http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_8_5/479793_UKHTF_EQUIPMENT_EXCHANGE__March_________Please_Read_The_New_Rules_____.html would have been able to help you more on finding what it is that your heart desires Tony Thanks. I no longer own an AUG, but the Austrian site I remember was knocking the mags out a good bit cheaper than UK S/H pricing. New magazines are over £50 from UK Steyr dealers. |

Ouch, that got to have hurt Tony Yeah, you either can't find magazines for your particular firearm in this country, or they cost a fortune! I have a few classic European made rifles and the magazines are often rarer or more expensive in their native Germany than America. If it's not an inconvenience, that would be very helpful. :) Thanks. |
