...anyone else see the B-17 flying over Spring recently?...my son has been telling me about it for a couple of weeks, and I thought he was smoking dope until he just now pulled me out of my chair in the office and hauled me outside to see it. Went over the house at about 1000 feet...looked like it was circling to land at Hooks AP. Seems to have the late war silver paint job a with some yellow and blue tail markings. The drone of the four engines is unmistakeable. If you hear it go out and take a look. It is an awesome sight... |

...it looked a lot like that one in the picture except the one flying over the house had a lower ball turret. I was leaving my house at 5:45 and it flew over again. This time at about 500 feet and I could see everything on the underside very clearly. Very cool...... |
