Just got of the phone with my mother. My aunt was mugged last night.
She lives in Harrow and was on her way back home about 11pm.
Got off the bus put her house keys in her pocket from her handbag.
Got jumped by 3 black girls 15-16 one the size of a house with a knife.
They got her handbag pushed her over and "then" gave her a kicking....

She had no money with her and a cheapo phone worth less than a tenner

Makes me livid

She's fine just bruised and sore, even the scumbags have no morrals...why kick her when she's down
after giving them her bag.

Sorry to hear about about what happened to your auntie.

I'll refrain from saying that if caught I'd put them in a boat and take them out into international waters and throw them in the drink.....

Sad days indeed.
Sorry to hear that and I hope she makes a full recovery, although the psychological side can take some time.

Thanks for your kind words guys.

I'm so lucky I'm quite a way away.
I'd hate to put my FAC at risk. But jeez to kick her after they'd had the booty.
I'll never understand that....gotta be the "respect" getto thang...in front of thier friends thing

GRRRRR!!!!!!

I feel so helpless.

I have ordered a personal alarm for her with integrated dye spray.
I have just bent her ears real bad on the phone.

i.e for fucks sake dont leave it in the bottom of your handbag........
Attach it to your keys and keep it in your hand while in your pocket.
I said this over and over again....I just hope it sunk in.

fingers crossed

Cheers
Taffy

Her bag was found nearby with only cheapo phone missing....
Armed robbery...for a phone worth fuck all

Like many other once respectable areas, Harrow is indeed a toilet now. Unfortunately its bordered by places like Brent and in particular Wembley.

Many of the teenage gangs ( gangs based on country of origin rather than school or area of residence ) are using Harrow to stage their battles.

As to the mugging and the pointless beating after - I have an honest held belief that this is racism pure and simple - a hate crime.

There are still a lot of people out there who look at any white person in what they perceive as a "posh white area" as "deserving" a beating and "deserving" robbery because they probably hate black people. There are generations now approaching teenage years whose parents have NEVER worked, whose grandparents have NEVER worked, who have NEVER owned a house, have NEVER owned a new car etc etc - from their viewpoint, anybody who is what we would call average with a job and a mortgage, they call posh and accordingly, fair game ! It never ceases to amaze me - stand at Salusbury Road NW6 during the rush hour - Its used by many as a short cut / diversion to avoid traffic. BUT, you will see people wearing 1000 pound suits, driving 40,000 pound cars with central locking all open, 5000 pound watches on wrist, latest expensive satnav on windscreen and expensive phone on passenger seat. And these people are driving along the boundary road of two of the worst estates in the area. Many of the residents have absolutely no respect for anyone and will kill / gbh for a few pounds. Can you imagine how they view the commuters ? The gap between rich and poor is getting bigger and more obscene - its not an excuse for robbery but try telling that to those scum !!

I have interviewed two teenage girls suspected of robbery in Kilburn - drunk male victim in his 50's - he was barely able to stand and offered no resistance while they rifled his pockets. They then broke a few of his fingers by holding his wrist and just snapping them back !!

Their response to my questions - "We were bored and just decided to lash a tex". Lash meaning beat and tex meaning white person. I believe the import of the slang is from Mexican slang for their perceived white oppressors in Texas. They made it clear that the 20 quid they took was just a bonus !!

I regard London as a rather dangerous 3rd world country now and avoid it unless forced to go up there for work related reasons and I can usually avoid that too.

Lived there in Limehouse and Custom House in the late 70's, early 80's… exciting but not an overly dangerous places then and they were the 'rough' parts of London. Back then I would walk around anywhere in London even at night with confidence. Now? I'd rather take a day trip to Mogadishu.

Inside M25 - Enter with caution
Circular Road - Bandit country
Most E,SE, W and N area codes - War zones

Well we came in to work this morning to find out that we had been broken into yesterday.

The f**kers cut the roller shutter off and we're still in the midst of a stock take to find out exactly what's missing

Whenever I cross the North Circular especially NW, I get an attack of "Harlesden elbow".

Its a little bruise on my right elbow from constantly checking the central locking is locked.

The whole country is becoming a cesspoll of arseholes who have absolutely no respect for anyone or anything.

There will be a backlash, but how far it has to go before the law abiding people start getting the support and respect they deserve is the bit we can't predict.

Sorry to hear about the attack Taffy....... I'm glad she's OK. It makes you and your family another set of victims to add to the list of people who are going to turn on these thugs in the future.

The socialists were warned a couple of generations ago that an open ended, all inclusive welfare system would breed a permanent underclass of illiterate unemployeables who would become a permanent drain on society and would come to live outside societies norms and come to prey on it. When you don't have contribute to a society to survive, you will naturally cease to abide by it's norms.

We have a winner!

The clever trick 'New' Labour realised was that they had to get as many people onto the Governments benefit tit as possible - Turkeys don't vote for Christmas.

Income Support had a degree of social stigma, now the chav classes are getting 'tax credits'… no stigma even if you don't actually have to work to claim this 'tax' back.

As the .Gov spin goes 'It's your money, you earn't it'

One of the great lies of our times.

Chances of getting the perps? ≤ Zero

Probably penalty even if caught? Slap on wrist, caution, community service order.

Net result? Not really worth the Polices effort to try and find them as the expended effort will bring such low results.

Sorry about your aunt
My wife worked in Buffalo, New York when we first started dating. I used to go there as a kid and visit my aunt who was a caretaker of a church there and I remembered it fondly. I hadn't really been there in the intervening twenty+ years.

Well things had certainly gone down hill. It was awkward dating with Glock 21 (like carrying a blowdryer around) and a backup revolver.
