Man there is a lot of new names here and that is great. Been away for a while...Masters program and building a house and family stuff. I do not see much on the MODCC? It is great to see CMMG still doing well with the shoots. I will post some old school shoot pics soon.

Good to see you back. Looks like we may be doing omega outbreak shoot at the CMMG range this year. It will also have a mall ninja theme. You will be issued a white belt for competing this year, yellow belt next, green belt next...blah blah blah). This will be a kinda a throwback to the MODCC style shoots. Very very informal, tons of COFs, tons of targets to blast and the score doesn't matter. We are gonna make some noise, a lot of noise! You are expected to show especially after being gone so long!!!! Welcome back! |

That shoot sounds great! The old school CMMG/Modcc type shoot is something I would love. It would be great to have an informal shoot where you practice basic skills and compete against yourself. The 10 rounds in the first mag type stuff that forces a mag change and strange zombie targets rock. I learned more in one of those shoots then 5 years shooting from a bench at paper. Things like seeing Gary with a rocket launcher and Eric with a K98 bayonet is priceless. I need to get with RobstienB and Metalman too. Is Mousegun87, Duke and those guys still around?
Jeff I will be there. You new guys I hope you can show up to this it sounds like a lot of fun. Even if we don't have Justinite and a Toyota, but you never know (John just started twitching)! Sapper, Eric, 308/Nascar and guys I will stay in touch. Edit - I wonder if Stickerman from KC is still around (My Neighbor was his good friend)? We built the first walls at the first CMMG shoot while Jeff, John, Duke and others cleared the gully! |
