I was out looking for ammunition and some accessories this morning. Here is what I found....
Wally World on 83rd and Peoria had a good blast of 40 cal and 9mm ammunition at their regular prices. They had some 22 bulk boxes at near 20 bucks a box. I stopped in at Shooters World/Arizona Tactical and found more M855 for 249.99 for 500 rounds. Arizona Tactical had a TON of 5.11 pants in stock and gave me a flier for a sale on the 14th and 15th for 5.11 products at 20% off, Im going back for that. They also had a hotdog vendor with some good polish dogs in the parking lot. Wally World at 59th and Northern had some bulk Remington buck shot 15rnd Boxes for 10.50 each, and minimal pistol rounds. As always I try to pass on the finds and bargains to you guys. Happy hunting

Thanks for the report. WTF is up with .22 prices?!?[/quote I asked the guy at Wally World why the hell they were charging 19.97 for the bulk .22 Federal shit we were paying 12 bucks for three months ago. He told me Federal raised the box price 4 bucks and Wally World raised it the rest. Good thing I have 100K in 22LR or I would be stuck paying those shit prices. I will see you guys at the 5.11 sale at Arizona Tactical on the 14th and 15th I made a wish list. The guy behind the counter told me to get there early for the free gift and best product selection. As always when I'm out hunting I will give you guys the low down if I find something good. Only problem is I don't shop the east valley so it will all be west side. ![]() |

Well, now that the cat is out of the bag, the Walmart at 59th and Northern regulary has .22LR. Last week, I counted eight bricks of the 550 Federal and at least ten bricks of the 500 count Winchester stuff all in stock at the same time. I should have bought some. |

From what the guys at Wally World are telling me the price increase is the cause for that. People are buying 22lr much slower because they jacked their price 8 bucks. Go for it I left what ever they had at 59th and Northern. I was hunting very specific ammunition.

The Walmart near me had a bunch of ammo too. After spending 15 minutes trying to get someone to show up in Sporting Goods and sell me some and failing, I know why they have so much. What Walmart was it and did they have any 45 ACP??? I'm in terrible need of 45 ACP at Wally World prices. I would find some help, just start walking around behing the counter they send people quick.

The BassPro at 101 and 202 had some the last time I was there, but that was a couple of months ago and it was the more expensive SZX Winchester hollowpoints. |

Good thing I did! They had .45 auto WWB. I asked if they still had a two box limit and was told the two box limit was on .22s and it was a six box limit on centerfire. So I got six boxes. I went back a couple of days later, but they were all sold out. |

I hold an FFL. I have for 28 years. And I can't get any 230gr 45acp ball to save my ass!
I just bought a case (1000rds) from a buddy of mine that just started an ammuntion manufacturing company. My good guy price? $23 a box of 50. If your Wal-Mart has 45acp, buy it! I prefer Winchester. |

This news is not pleasing, PLEASE if anyone sees any 45 ACP at a Wally World let me know. I will even drive into the east valley to pick some up. Nothing says we can't help each other out and keep this thread going as an advisory of what's out there at our local stores.
Last time I was at Bass Pro they had 45 Ball for 39.99 per flipping 50 round box. I almost exploded!!

I have seen some at the Walmart on Estrella and the I-10...but it's hit or miss. They normally have 40 and 9mm now. .223 and 7.62x39 is making a come back. The Walmart in Buckeye is usually pretty well stocked on the rare occassion that I go there for 7mm ammo. |
I found some smokin 5.11 gear at Arizona Tactical yesterday with the 20% off it was a huge savings. I suggest you guys who didn't make it get in there before the sale ends and you miss out. Shooters World also had a couple boxes of 45 so I got a hundred rounds, they still had several cases of the M855.
