Anybody know anything about the place beyond what Google maps can tell you? Thinking about buying a place up there.

I live "near" Barnstead...I like the remoteness of the place, but I'd think after a while having to drive 40 min to get anywhere would get old. I live closer to civilization. I thought I'd dislike my hour drive to and from work everday, but oddly enough I don't. I just hate burning the gas. |

And it's worse times 50 in an ice storm or nor'easter. |
