Just got a "New York" model Smith n Wesson from my pal.

Never been fired, brand new.

No flash hider, no bayo lug.

I don't care about the bayo lug but was wondering about threading the barrel
to install a flash hider.

Anyone ever threaded a barrel before?

Or would it be easier and cheaper just to buy a new threaded 16" barrel already threaded?

I would buy a new one factory threaded and sell that one back into a ban state.

ADCO firearms threaded one for me several years back................65.00 dollars is what they charge and their work is first class with a blazing fast turn-around time............

If you can remove the barrel from the upper, any machine shop should be able to cut the threads.
