Hi everyone,

I'm interested in investing in some basic/intermediate handgun training now that I'm getting back into shooting more often. I'd say I'm not a complete newbie but I have issues with some core fundamentals that I need to fix. I'm more interested in the accuracy/sport aspect at first and then will later focus on the "tactical" aspects. I'd like to work either privately or in a small group setting.

There a lot of quality shooters here so I'd like to see what you guys recommend. Thanks!

Rob Sheppard.  He's cmshoot on this and other boards.  Best firearms instructor I know.

Mike Benedict. I've had all my pistol training from him and he would be perfect to fix your core fundamentals.

Rob Sheppard and Todd Litt are among the best around in Metro Atl. I know there are many others, but I've taken a class from Shep and know Todd. Their user names are 00Bullitt and CMShoot. Also Creekside offers pistol stuff, as does Sharpshooters and every other range. PM me and maybe I can set you up with something very "cost effective."

Not exactly new to handguns myself, but do feel I could benefit from a little instruction and evaluation of fundamentals.

Another vote for any of the guys listed above.

Tod and Erik do a basic handgun a couple times a year.  Shep offers some as well.   Mike Benedict can give you some great instruction at a very reasonable price, as well.  We are very lucky here to have access to such valuable resources.

I'm seeing a pattern here

I'm taking the intro AR class with Erik and Todd so that's pretty handy. Will check with the others also. Thanks y'all!
