| Can anyone recommend a good starting course/class to take in the Louisville area? I'm not an idiot with firearms but I am relatively new and know there is much to learn (I think). I'm speaking more of safety class first unless the four rules are pretty much it. |
| If you have a designated carbine and some basic gear set up, Lawdog ( member here on arfcom) had a course both basic and advanced. Only $50. However, not enough people signed up for it. Im sure if you can round up some friends as interested as you he may get it back up. I believe the courses were in late September. |

We do private lessons at Bluegrass Indoor Range. These are pistol based, however, as we can't shoot the .223 in the range. The lesson is 2 hours, $75 for one person, $100 for two people. Range fee and targets are included in that price.
