I am privy to ad material (I think it went out this week) and did see 9mm ammo would be on sale. If I recall it was limit 2 5 boxes at 14.77 per 100rd box, 6/10 only free bass pro knife to first 500, get coupon at entrance. One full page on their insert dedicated to it but only listed the 9mm, Remington 115gr MC. There also was sig p220 and p229 for sale for 959.88 and 879.88 and the .22 mosquito 399.88 ~~but can't recall the price right now~~, seemed cheap enough. I'll see if we have any around the plant later.

Went to the grand opening, Nice place, Not as much wildlife as the two Cabellas I have been to, and a little less than the BP in Vegas. Got a couple of 1.5 M Candle power spotlights for 8 bucks a piece, and a couple tshirts. I stopped by the gun counter to see if they had a 77/22, nope, only 77/17s. The pistol area was too crowded for me to get to.

In the fine gun area, a bunch of shotguns, one was $97,000, I thought about picking it up for a truck gun or something.

I entered into the drawing for the Sig P220, and plan to go back in a few weeks after the new wears off to see if they have any good used guns/ new ones worth looking at.

I think it's 'funny' when others think it's 'funny' that a state which is comprised of largely desert doesn't have "great fishing/lakes"......"I want to move to the Sonoran/Mojave/Chihuahuan desert.....but where's the lakes???"

i was there for the GO, was neat, enjoyed looking thru the store. It was the first time ive been into a bass pro, i have not been to the cabelas yet. $.99 rat-l-traps on friday!

one thing I noticed was that 10min after opening the 55g 223 remington was GONE.

JIMMY! LAY OFF THE CRACK!

The only thing that swims in my "lake" are my two dogs.....and when I say swim, I mean thats all they do, all day! They are in the pool every day when I get home from work. CRAZY pooches.

Crack????? I wish lol j/k Just lacking sleep the lungs of another newborn keeping us up. So yea its kinda feels like i,m on crack lol . I am gonna try to get up there to Bass Pro with the other kids soon as the New is worn off.

Actally AZ has great fishing. We go to the stocked lakes on Post, then to Patagonia fairly often. Then twice a year deep sea fishing at Rocky Point. I guarantee the Bass Pro shop will be busy.

I went over there this afternoon. What a zoo. Not enouhg difference between them and Cabela's/Sportsman's to make it worth the drive from the west side. I also noticed the sign at the door asking you to check all firearms at customer service before entering the store. How do they expect to succeed in ARIZONA with an attitude like that?
