Ok, so pretty much everything has taken a crap lately but one good thing has happened. Our home security company picked our house as a sort of model home. They offered to completely upgrade our security system to their new wireless system for no charge as long as they can use us as a reference for other customers. We said yes and within an hour they showed up and are installing the new system complete with cameras, sensors, smartphone monitoring, keyfob alarm activation/deactivation and all that fancy geek stuff. It'll be nice to tell the cats to behave from anywhere in the city. Not sure what it would normally cost but it's gotta pretty damn expensive.
Oh, and to soothe my anger over my new Grendel being fubar'd on delivery my bff is ordering a new S&W M&P40 compact for me, it's on sale. I guess I'll be cheered up. |

Ummm...hell no...they only get to call and ask how we like the system. Of course we never answer calls from unknown numbers (shhhhhh.....)... I love caller ID.
And my bff isn't buying me another gun...I thought that would get a better reaction. Actually I'm buying it to be my bug out bag gun. Thought I should have a dedicated bag gun and for $400 brand new it's hard to beat the price....ya'll should jump on it (Palmetto State Armory). |

Downside is it's taking forever and the constant sound of them testing the alarms is making me very cranky and I still have two dinosaur sized 'cowboy cut' ribeyes that need to go on the grill. Might have to postpone the steaks till tomorrow. I had a grilled steak, salad and some crackers for dinner washed down with some sweet tea; dinner was Goddamned tasty. had some cantaloupe and extra strong coffee for dessert; they were good too. |

Make sure you change all passwords so they can't access it with out you knowing I worked for a company that had the ability to access their indoor cameras. Totally not cool I quit soon after - found a better job with honest people Good advice....we'll do that. |
