I don't know if some of you guys remember me posting both about moving inn o  new place with my fiancee and also trying to hook multiple things up to a pojector...

But I got it worked out for very cheap.  I found a HDMI TOSLINK switcher box with infrared remote on Amazon.com for $73 bucks, and it works awesome.  It has 4 HDMI and optical (Toslink) imputs and one outbut.  Now, I am typing to you on a 105" screen, and the Uverse box is still hooked up and on on a different imput.  I'm about to switch to imput # 2 and play 105" of XBox!!!!

It actually came with the house.  Well, the HD projector, stereo system, and an HP Pavillion Home Entertainment computer system (with HDMI and TOSLINK out) all came with the house.

AT&T came in and did up thier UVerse thing, and used an HDMI cable to hook into the projector.  The projector only has one HDMI imput, and the amplifier that goes across the room to the stereo equipment only has one TOSLINK connector.  So we ditched the computer system for the past month, and when I wanted to use the XBox, I would have to go switch the cables around.

I found the HDMI switcher on Amazon.com for $73, and used my fiancee's $25 amazon.com credit towards it.  It takes 4 HDMI and 4 TOSLINK (optical) inputs, and outputs to one HDMI and 1 TOSLINK.  So when I want to use a different video/audio source, all I have to do is pick up the remote and and select and input from 1 to 4.  Right now, the Uverse box, the XBox, and the entertainment PC are all  hooked up.  Sometime this week, I should have another HDMI and TOSLINK cable in, so I will hook the BluRay up to the 4th input on the switcher.

Actually, sometimes it sucks!  I'll get a UAV, and look at the corner of the screen, and in teh meantime, someone walks onto the screen from the other side and I never see them until its too late!
