How is everyone's bear populations this year? I've seen more bear this year alone, than in the last 20 combined. In my yard, crossing roads and train tracks. Is it just my area or state wide? |

| Saw a few this year, mom with 2 cubs back in May, big boy in early fall going through our berry patch. Most I ever saw was in summer 2018. I chased 5 different ones out of my yard then and saw even more that didn't need to be yelled at, and it seems like they turned the garbage over every night for a couple weeks. But it was a good year for bears, plenty of wild apples and berries in spite of the June frost. |
