Good Morning,

Dose any one know of a Good chain saw blade sharpener in SE WI, prefer someone in waukesha county,  I let the guy next door use my saw to take down some bushes, and he did give it back filled with gas it looks like he was trying to cut boulders with it.

Thanks
jakjak

Pick up a file and sharpen the chain yourself, It's not too hard. If your worried get a file with a guide.
ETA: If you do want to pay someone to do it I would look for a small shop that carries whichever brand of saw you have.

The Ace Hardware in Delafield (right off 94 and 83) has done very good work for me and my family members in the past.  Might be a slight wait, but they did very good by us.

Every experience I've ever had at that store has been positive.

Do those electric sharpeners that look like cutoff saws work any good? They're usually about $50 or so.

I've used Midwest power equipment before.

See how much a new chain is first. I had them sharpen a 12" chain and I said can you make me an extra too. Sharpening the old one $12, cost for the new one $11...WTF.

I used the Ace Hardware near Capitol and 164.  The problem there was they would send the blades out once a week which sucked if you missed the send out date as they would have your blade for almost 2 weeks.  They did do a fine job.  If the chain gets stretched too far, they will also pull a link for you.

I tried the dremel route as we used to heat our house with wood but I just couldn't get it as sharp as the guys using the professional grinders.  Plus I could never tell when the blade was taken down too far for safety.
