Sorry if this has been asked here before, but is anything being done to repeal Georgia's ridiculous blue laws?

Also, hello; I'm pretty new here.  I've been an AK guy for a LONG time, but the threat of not ever being able to own an AR motivated me to try to build some, so that is what I am doing now.

In fact, one of the other members here, today, laughed as I fumbled with an AR bolt and said, "I love you AK guys."

Anyway, the question was about the blue laws, so let's focus on that.

Yes and No....they were/or trying to change some of the blue laws with them building the new minor league ball field over in Gwinett county, so they can sale on Sunday

But I doubt we see anything change with are sitting Gov....He wont stand up to the Southern Baptist (and yes I can complain Iam one , I buy my beer on Sat)

I think it is a dumb ass law...we are one of 3 states that u cant buy a beer at the store on Sun....Id be happy with buying till after 12..I can wait

When I lived in WV it was great...Beer and Liquore at the Gas stations! Its that way in MO

Florida is three miles away.

But I'd fight for changes for the betterment of the rest of the folks in the state.

Beer tastes good in front of the football game after church.

Now, I'm a little fuzzy, but that's transporting alcohol over state lines?

It's the one that repeals the 18th, and the 18th outlaws all alcohol.

like the prohibition on marijuana ends all my drug cases? I think I'd be able to retire in 6 months if we banned alcohol again...

It's not a big deal.  Keep your freezer stocked with your liqueur, keep a bottle of red and white on hand, buy in bulk and double check on Saturday.  Have an extra fridge full of your beer and only tap into that when the main fridge runs out.  Keep your main fridge full you will never have issues.

And if you can't keep track of your beer count, God help you counting your rounds left in a mag.

Or make good friends with a manager at your local bar pub, and do a behind closed doors transaction and replace it on Monday.  Of course they need to be sufficiently stocked.

I always found myself in the no beer on Sunday quandary before I was 21.  Once I turned this alchy was sure to have sauce available at all times.

I think what you mean is you could stop taking new cases in six months... of course, those cases you already had would keep your working for YEARS AND YEARS to come, what with the speed and efficiency of the modern court system.

If I saw the light at the end of the tunnel everyone would get a speedy filed.
