If you're not toting Level 4 then, Dragon skin is the next best thing.  It's also 3 times as expensive as everything else...

I should say "something like Dragon skin" (a composite between kevlar and ceramics).  I don't think Pinnacle Armor is selling to anyone anymore.

Since level 4 armor tends to be a little thick and heavy, I use a Level 3A vest with additional kevlar soft plates. It won't stop a rifle round however, it will stop just about everything else.

I got some Level 4 plates in a carrier and I tote them around just fine. it hurts for a bit but you get used to it, its a good work out for your core muscles the next day. they are hot as hell and don't breath for shit.

I've got a Spartan II with Ceradynes and yes, it's heavy, but you get used to it. It's a lot better than the Interceptor I was using last year and a lot more adaptable.
