Eons ago there was a thread where you guys recommended this book...
Then you guys recommended a few more...
What were the few more?  (or what do you recommend now?)

Lone Survivor, Marcus Luttrell.

Another interesting book to read, is Nathaniel Fick's "One Bullet Away." While it cover's his whole service, there is also a lot of overlap with Generation Kill and you get his perspective as well.

Different from the above, but apropos for today...

Brothers in Battle, Best of Friends by William Guanere

Beyond Band of Brothers, by Dick Winters

I also highly recommend Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell...  It takes a lot to keep me interested in books.  I'm the classic, read half then put it down an never pick it back up.

I've read Generation Kill and Lone Survivor, both are good reads. The latest book I just finished was Rogue Warrior by Dick Marchinko.
