No, not $$$ broke... I broke my !@#$ foot again!

For those of you keeping score, that's 3 tarsal breaks in a 4-year period.  I really hate these immobilizing boots.

My Podiatrist (also an excellent foot surgeon - a very good doctor [and good friend] whom I trust implicitly) assures me that my bone structure & density are fine, no signs of osteoporosis or any abnormalities - just God-awful luck re: my feet.

I already had to back out of the next FOP shoot (family conflict), but now I also have to back out of the Low-Light Handgun/Carbine class I was going to take next month.

Oh, well - time to catch up on some gun building/cleaning and all those movies I've recorded but haven't had time to watch...

Stress fracture.  Best I can guess it started with two of my nieces jumping on that foot (independently, at different times) to climb in my lap when I visited my youngest S-I-L's family two Sundays ago.  From the x-ray, my doc said it looks like they caused a deep bone-bruise (? - his description - it was sore and swollen for a day or two afterward) and that sometime in the week-and-a-half since (probably late last week - it got VERY swollen this past Saturday) I just torqued it wrong and >SNAP!< - he said it was a clean break.
