| Has 1lb and 8lb jugs of Varget. I got mine, go get em. |
| Unfortunately as the last full service gun shop in the buffalo area there is not a lot of choices to get stuff- the next attest shop I know of never has things in stock rarely any spare parts no gunsmith on site etc. my experience there is somewhat variable. I have shopped there for thirty years or so. Most of the time with me they are nice. I have seen them give attitude to people on many an occasion though. Larry and Paul are both very nice, some of the other sales people are complete dicks and I am not fond of the new younger guys working there. But if you need a last minute spare part odd ball bullet or powder or want to go to a shop with lots of inventory to examine they are the only game in town. Maybe things will change when the new cabela's opens but what choices do we really have at this point? |

Why is BGC so hated? I've never been there. They EARN the reputation. But then again, if I had to deal with buffalo trash and totally uninformed customers I can see myself becoming an asshole too. With that being said, they are the only shop in town besides Johnsons. If you reload, there are few options, and right now NOBODY has Varget, so its a big deal that they have it for those that are out. |

| Wolcott guns on Walden in Depew should be a great alternative to the BGC and I hope they put them out of business. The gun center is generally over priced but they carry a lot of inventory and have a good selection on hand for guns and accessories. 95% of the guys that work there must have Aspergers as thats the only thing that can possibly account for such shitty attitudes from people in a customer service role. I have walked out in the past waving a fist full of cash at the loser behind the counter after I could no longer tolerate his douchebaggery letting him know I was taking my business elsewhere because he was such an asshole. |

My cousin mike went in there with every intention of buying a new p229 for his carry piece, an he asked for a specific grip for it. Instead of taking the business and treating him as they should, he was told that "he shouldn't need a custom grip if he new how to handle the piece." Sufficed to say that didn't go well ... 22 years as a scout sniper and another 10+ as an armed guard will give a guy a complex when it comes to questioning his marksmanship! |
