Well, since I have never been there and plan to go this week (day off from work) my plan is to shoot the 100 yard range for a while then move over the pistol then the plinking. My question is if I have a ton of stuff (ammo) should I bring a wagon to haul my stuff? or is it easy distance between the different ranges?? Thanks much! |
Your car will suffice. you can park right next to each range. |
there are tables the entire length of the plinking range for you to shoot from, and to put all your stuff on. Also there are rifle racks back from the tables if you need one. The rifle range has seats and tables to shoot from (you must shoot from a seated position) |

Folks since they were closed today I could not ask them another question but let me aks you all. What methods of payment do they take for range fee's so I know what to bring, cash or credit... I also need to buy card board backers there I see to use targets. If anyone is in the area I will be there as soon as the gates open at 9:00 Look for the guy that looks confused :) |
Cash is king and it's all I've ever used there. You don't need to buy cardboard backers. They will have the backers up for you all ready no matter which range you use. If you go to the information resource at the top of the IL forum page, you will see a link to their website which will answer alot of questions. Their days of operation are Thurs-monday, and Thursdays are a temperary thing. |
Beautiful...I plan to be there Thursday and it calls for rain. by the way if anyone is down there this Thursday I will be there in the morning when they open, I have about 200 rounds of Barnaul .308 soft point if anyone wants it they can have it for free....just mention the password to me..... password = Steel Case ammo sucks |
You had to be there.... IM me though |
