for what. where am i bugging to? wilderness? a 22 rifle and as much 22 ammo as i can carry.
am i in the city? am i in danger of getting mugged walking into town? then you need a pistol. you cant walk around post apocalyptic-ville with a rifle slung over your back. it will make you a target. is it zombies and a total degradation of any infrastructure and law enforcement? Then AR rifle. need more detail in the question. |

definately my AR-15 (colt match target). Also can be used for hunting or even sniping... AK's are not very accurate. Don't start that AK vs AR15 war. Never mind that. Mostly I'm just excited about the quote pyramid. But to give the illusion that this post has meaning... probably the suppressed pistol. I can always use it to "obtain" a rifle later. Edit: On second thought the rifle, or both.

But Id throw a 10.5 inch 6.8 upper with a 6.8 can in the pack. 6.8 is a great hunting round....if I needed to gather food the old fashoin way. Plus you can use the larger can for the 5.56 to keep weight down. |
