Took a visit to Bullet Express in Springfield last night. It is very close to my G/F apartment so it made for a great Friday night date.

This was my first time at an indoor rifle range. They have four underground 50 yard ranges that are concrete culvert sections. I will say I had a very good experience. The fella at the counter was very helpful and explained everything well. I am thinking about going back today I liked it so much.

The rate was about $18 hour. I brought my own targets, but they have some for $.50 each. Also they had tons of reloading supplies and good prices on ammo.

That is a great place to shoot. They also have a nice 8 lane pistol range that hosts the local USPSA shoots on Thursday nights and classes for first time shooters.  Come on out and have a good time. Helpful people and good staff at the range and gun shop (Capitol City Arms) also in the same building.

Yep, Great place to shoot.   It's the only range I've ever been to,  but I enjoy every trip there!   I have shot on both their underground Rifle and their pistol ranges.

The Owner John is a really nice guy,  I bought all my reloading stuff from him, and he was very helpfull with it.   Their prices are fair, I know when I buy something from them that I'm not getting ripped off.

They also stock a wide range of ammo, powder, and bullets, all of which have always been in stock when ever i've been there, which is more than I can say for almost everywhere else!

Their ammo prices are pretty standard, not cheap, not expensive,  but John's quoted me some pretty good prices for ammo ordered in bulk.

In responce to Capitol City Arms,  Their prices are pretty high, Their staff which is shared between Bullet Express and the Gun Shop seams knowledgeable, as they've answered all my questions, but their prices leave alot to be desired,  everything is MSRP in there, and pretty much every other gun shop around is cheaper.   I'm not sure if it's because they are located at the range, or what.   I would have bought 2 firearms from them if their prices has been more reasonable.

I wonder if they have any class three rental guns to shoot. I live about an hour away and never remember they are there.
