Bullfrogs tend to sound like...well bullfrogs lol.
Ones I always heard had a loud deep croke

It was a miniature Chupacabra.They sound just like bullfrogs till they eat your chickens!

I have seen a seal bark at a duck, then proceed to chew on it, and the duck did make a dying sound..   So it is plausible...
