My Texas CCW was about to expire. So I went and got a SD drivers lic and than went up to Strugis to get a SD CCW. 2 weeks later got my SD permit in the mail. Am I alone in thinking that it looks like I made it myself on my computer? I guess my expectations were a little higher.

Oh well. It was a ton easier to get it than in TX and alot cheaper!! I love this state.

And its not actually signed by the sec of state. All the SD CCP is a poorly laminated paper card with your address. We proved in a digital forensics class that the signature is printed, not written.

The signature on mine even looks like it was printed out. I love how they give you a temporary one (your application and receipt that you paid) when you go and pay your ten dollars. It should be that way in every state. Texas was a pain to get it. I'm from Texas and have found that there are better places to be.
