My girlfriend and I just completed two days of firearm / CCW training with Joe from Line of Fire LLC.  I needed to renew my CCW and my GF is new to firearms and will be getting her CCW soon.  I want all who live in Vegas or are visiting Vegas to know that if you are looking for top notch personal firearms instruction, Joe Nizzari is the guy to call.  He is personable, reliable, professional ,knowledgeable and well certified.

My father was a Sherriff deputy in California so I was raised from a very young age shooting and being around firearms.  I am prior military and have NRA instructor credentials and I was still able to pick up many points of interest, clarification and technique from Joe.  My GF was able to increase her confidence, abilities and general knowledge about firearms and concealed carry law.

Joe provided all training in the safety and comfort of my own home before traveling to the range for qualification.  Joe may not be the cheapest in town but I highly suggest that you do not put a price on quality training that will one day likely save your life... or the life of a loved one.

Woman Students:  I only have two words for you, "Call Joe"

Hit me up if you have any questions.

gixxerguy,

Thank you for posting such a detailed AAR regarding your training experience with Line of Fire, LLC. It is greatly appreciated and it was a pleasure to meet and train with you and your girlfriend!

You have stated what a lot of firearms owners fail to recognize; and that is one never knows everything. As much as a person thinks they know there is much more to learn. You are a fellow instructor and gun owner and I'm confident you know that statement to be incontestable.

Anyone can pay good money for training with a skilled instructor, but what's more important than receiving competent training is absorbing the skills presented, and subsequently keeping those skills current along with the responsibilities that accompany them.

As you've experienced in your course, you know that I require my students to work hard in order to pass any of my curriculum successfully. This might sound a bit stringent to some, but it is how I cultivate life saving skills to my students, and I will continue to train all of my students based on those standards no matter what disciplines they choose to take from me. Just meeting a minimum standard is not enough for any endeavor in life, let alone obtaining the skillsets to keep you vertical, eating solid food, with no extra holes in you.

Your girlfriend did an outstanding job and quite frankly impressed the hell out of me. She jumped in with both feet, listened to what was presented, and executed everything that was asked of her safely and competently. She has a lot to be proud of.

I maintain giving my students more than they pay for and that's why I don’t instruct large courses. I believe in providing my students with the highest quality instruction for their training dollar, and all of my courses are limited to smaller, private classes that are very inclusive both in the classroom and during live-fire instruction. By adhering myself to these business and instructional models, I feel that a more cognizant and skillful student is engendered, and you and you girlfriend are shining examples of that.

I'd like to once again thank you and your girlfriend for your hard work, camaraderie, and choosing Line of Fire, LLC for your training needs.

I hope to train with both of you again in the future.

Be Safe,

Joseph Nizzari

I'd like to give a big +1 for joe as well i had a great time and learned a lot when i took his course.

Still waiting on the man to mail me the actual permit...

I believe you also mentioned a carbine course, I would be interested in improving there as well.

Joe,

Have you ever come up North (Reno/Sparks) to teach any classes?  I am thinking more Defensive Handgun type classes versus a CCW class.

If so, what class size would make it worth it for the trip?
