I want to get a FL CCL. I have done some research online about there requirement and have a few questions.
1) Do I have to go to FL or can I mail everything? 2) What class or classes do I need to take? If there are options witch ones do you recommend? Thanks |

Ok so I took the hunters ed class but that was almost 10 years ago and the only thing I have is a patch and my heritage card.
What do I need to send to FL? Im sure theres some fancy paper work I lost. The advantage for me is age. Gotta be 23 in MO but only 21 in FL. Thanks again |

Make a color photocopy of your heritage card, and draw an arrow pointing to your number, and write that this is your hunters safety training number.
Florida may be the only high-recognition out-of-state option, as Utah is considering canceling it's nonresident licensing program. |

I would encourage you to still take a MO CCW corse so that you know the law and how it applys in MO. This is the route I took. When I turned 21 I sought a Florida CCW permit because of the lower age requirement. However, I took a Missouri CCW class to understand the local laws. Fast forward 2 years and now I'm getting ready to PCS to Pensacola in 2 months...go figure |

KS honors a FL licence so thats what I will go with thanks for all the help. as far as the press it works great but the lyman scale I bought to use with it im not impressed with the fact I have to recalibrate after every round but I dont think KS honors a non res FL permit... |

Kansas only honors other state's CCW if the person is a resident of the state that issued the permit. |

Here's the letter from the Attorney General |
