I sent my CCW paperwork in at the beginning of December, the check cleared yesterday. I was told to expect 3 months, but does anyone have any idea how long after check clearage I can expect my plastic protection?

The State has 90 days after they RECEIVE your application to process it. Right now they are running 90 days.

while the State realizes that they are vastly under staffed, they refuse to put more people on processing CCW applications.
They are taking the money, and being deliberate in slowing down service.  Issuing CCW licenses is, after all,  only about the money.

I remember the 14-28 day time frames, and to me that was long.

I did mine in the summer.  It took 76 days, but in the current climate it takes 90 days at least.

About 10 weeks from the time the check clears.  At least that's how long it took for my wife's when she sent hers in August.

ETA: That was WITH electronic fingerprints.
