Just called to get the packet. I explained I was an out of state resident getting ready to relocate. The lady was very nice. She said the expected processing time is 4 months due to the backlog created by their new gun laws. Wow.

before someone yells down your throat

its not a CCW permit

it is simply a permit to carry, whether it be OC or CC

Edit never mind I see upon second reading that it appears your talking about applying for an non resident permit.

The state has 8 weeks to process the application once they receive it. Its in the permitting statute. See the time line information CCDL has put together.
