Went to CE today to shoot some of my AR10s, a Savage 62 .22 LR, my M1 Carbine, my IHC Garand, and my H&R Rack Grade (as opposed to the Correct Grade ).Had a good day except that I could not get those POS AR10s to malfunction. All those know-it-alls keep telling me that they are junk, but I'll be damned if I can get to act as they should, per those guys.  I found out that my AR10T likes the Georgia Arms G308M 168gr boattail hollow point(the reman ammo) more than the G308UM (the NEW version of the same ammo) and really likes the M118LR, as did the AR10A4 with the stainless barrel. I just got this cheapy BSA scope to put on the Savage 62 and shot about a 2 to 3 inch group at 100 yards. I was amazed:  The two Garands side by side:  Met Roland_O_Gilead and his girlfriend (Jake and Melissa).  They shot the IHC: Jake:  Notice both an empty and the enbloc clip in the air. Melissa:   There are two shots of her because I caught two shots of an empty in the air and only got one for Jake. It's not because she is cuter.

Well, she is cuter, but I actually only found one shot of Jake with a shell in the air and it also had the clip ejecting as well. Where you been? |
Here is stack arms with 2 Garands and an 03A3 (back when I only had 2 Garands):  Here it is with 3 Garands:  Now I have enough Garands to do 3 stacks if I use the 03A3.

Got divorced, sold the chimney sweeping business, the house and just about everything else except the firearms and went to work for an engineering firm. Living in Lawrenceville now. |
