Anyone in NJ belong to the Central Jersey Pistol & Rifle Club in Jackson?

Well, I'm not and really only for one reason, THE FEE. $400 one time initiation fee, then $150 a year and you have to attend at least 3  meetings before they decide to let you in.

I think that there is a minimum amount of meetings that you have to attend throughout the year after that as well. With my work schedule that would be a problem.

Here is the link to their site.

I know some folks who are members, and they tell me the facilities and other members are fantastic.

For me, it's really only an issue of $

I'm a member for the last 15 years. Not cheap for the first year but well worth the price of admission. Great facility.

Ive been thinking about joining that club as well, but Im waiting until I have an extra $400 kicking around. I think they will spit it up into 1 $200  and 4 $55 payments. Its also a bit far from my house (about 45-60) minutes. Ive only heard good thing about the club as well. There are a few other clubs that are closer to me and cheaper, Citizens Rifle, but they do not have the facilities that Central Jersey has.

Yes, the first year is the most expansive. After that you only pay $100.00 a year if you do one work party ot attend 3 meetings within the year. Very nice place though.

For me it's only the money. Everyone that I have talked that has shot there loves the place!

Citizens is closer for me but I understand their facilities are no comparision to Central.
