Am I correct in ASSuming if I own a pre-ban AR that I could put a new (recently manufactured) upper on it that has 'pre-ban' features?
Can I have 3 or 4 uppers with 'pre-ban' features for my one pre-ban lower as long as they never get put on a post-ban lower?

My understanding is pre-ban is pre-ban and as long as the lower is pre ban and not a Colt AR-15 or Sporter marked receiver, you can add whatever you want to it on top and have the collapsible stock.
Again, this is my understanding of the restriction.

New uppers on Old lowers is AOK.
