Great customer service. I ordered a gerber triode light, it didn't work, they immediately sent me a new one. The light came with a knife so now I have two of them.

That is all.

I don't like Cabelas.  They took WAY too much of my money last Christmas.

+1

I go to Cabelas and figure out what I want to buy, then go over to the whorehouse and buy it.

Cabelas is about 20% more expensive than elsewhere many times.... granted, it's a pretty sweet store to wander in.

I haven't actually been to the store, I have only dealt with the website.

They have a large selection, and usually have a lot in stock.  They are great if you need something now, and can't find it anywhere else and can't wait for it to be shipped.  But you will pay for that convenience. They are the only place locally that seems to have the red box, 55grain FMJ .223 in stock anymore.

If anyone ever asks, I tell them the truth--if you shop around, you can beat our pricing. However, it isn't very often when you see the "amusement park" aspect in a store--that costs money--and the very generous customer satisfaction guarantee. You will never see a "All firearm sales are Final" sign anywhere. Trust me, that part of the policy costs us lots of money every day. The stores and company aren't perfect, but I find it refreshing to know that they only want people who know what they are doing.

I went yesterday for the first time on my way to Portland from Marysville.  OMFG I was in heaven. When we finally left two hours had passed like it was 2 seconds. I needed a cigarette afterwards and I don't smoke  Then I saw that Sportsmanswharehouse was across the free way. I will hit that on the way back sunday. They don't have a website like cabelas

I found a bunch of Q3131 there in January.

Went down there today. No small rifle primers, no WIN 231.  I did get some Hornady .45 and 100 large pistol primers.

Cabelas and the whorehouse combine to make for a well rounded outdoor shopping experience. YMMV.

The whorewhouse does get more of my money because they are more local. If only they had Cabelas warranty. Of course then they would have to charge more too...
