Gents I was at the Dundee Cabelas Tuesday picking up a case of Herters Russian 45 ACP ($309/1000). They had ammo stacked everywhere in the gun section. I saw 223 of various types, 9mm, 45, even 380. Lots of 308 and 762x39. Literally stacked up.
I bought some S&B 9mm on sale for $12/50. The Russian stuff, Wolf/Tula/Herters all work fine as range ammo for me. Most of the Herters was in the green dry boxes. |

I bought some Hungarian MFS ammo a while ago and the whole lot was horrible. 4 different 9mm guns in excellent condition would consistently fail to set off the stuff. Steer clear. |
