Guys,
A friend of mine comes back to town once a year...and we always go shooting. He brought his mini 14 (yeah, I know) and I was shooting my Colt. Also shot the Glock at the rifle benches today....just to see if I could hit anything at 50 or 100 yds. We got there when it opened and the 200 yd side seemed to draw the most people. We set up down to the right...where we could shoot at the 50 and 100 yd targets. There was a dude to my right with a tricked out AR who turned out to be a pistol instructor for the Coasties ( I think it was Coast Guard Reserve). He mentioned that he'd like to put together some sort of informal training classes at Calverton. Sounds cool. Lots of scoped bolt gun guys set up all over the place. Hot as Hell out there.....but we had a good time. |
Hunting season is around the corner and we all know how it gets in October

I was at calverton also today, I did not see any BFL though.... A nice mini 14 was next to me but it was not early it was midday.
I prob would not do a costguard course I mean I rather do something thats not military style. I kinda wanna see a chris fry pistol class soon! |
