My brother and I went there yesterday to check out his brand new S&W M&P 40. Very nice pistol. Adjustable back strap, decent factory sights, but a slightly funky trigger. As a G19 shooter, I know a thing or two about funky triggers. The trigger reset was hard to get a feel for.
We were the first ones there.....stayed till noon. Only two other cars showed up during those three hours. Cold as Hell......but it was great. No one else was shooting on the pistol side....so we went down range whenever he felt like it. Just as we were leaving, a dude showed up with some sort of a mystery shotgun. It was a semi-auto with a mag! My bro sort of knew what it was, but I cannot remember what he said. |

More than likely a Saiga than anything else I can think of off the top of my head.
The M&P is one of the best pistols out there. IMO it beats out Glock for the top spot in striker fired operation. Definately get a APEX trigger kit, it is a night and day difference. Stop down to the S&W forum on here, theres a wealth of info on the gun and you'll see alot of converters like me |

Saiga, exactly. That's what it was.
My brother is the one who got the new M&P 40. He's gotten the trigger mod advice already....but he's not ready for that. I've modded my rifles and my G19....but he's not there yet. We've got to give him a while to get spooled up. |

Cold is one thing. What was the situation with the snow on the ground? I have always imagine that would be a problem so I have avoided going when snow is around. Do they clear it or is there a foot of snow everywhere? No, Harry doesn't clear it off. You're on your own!! |
