Niece got a county pic 15 over posted...

Whats the current law status on this. Fine, points, insurance hit etc.? She got a letter in the mail with picture of her and plate. Her boyfriend tells her to ignore it and avoid the process server and it will go away... What say the Hometown Hive?

Tell her to be accountable for her actions.

She was speeding,

Take the class or pay the ticket and learn a lesson.

Teaching responsibility usually comes before turning them loose with a car. In this case I would ignore it. Let them serve the ticket. Taking the human element out of law enforcement is teaching the state of Arizona to be irresponsible. I like cops but can't stand speed cameras.

You'll have this opinion until there are people driving 50mph through a residential street, and your opinion will change pretty quickly (mine did).

It's not the best solution, no, but if a cop ain't going to be sitting there writing tickets; I'm out of (reasonable) ideas.

When she misses her period, her boyfriend will probably say the same thing(minus the process server).

Dude, Your core message is spot on, however your parting shot is un-called for and telling. This is HomeTown not General Discussion.

Toned it down. I was picturing my niece, telling me that is the advice her boyfriend gave her.
