I'd like to. I hear they have a 1000 yard range there.

I was out there last year. I dont recall if they have a 1k range, but I do recall driving across one range that was atleast 600-800 meters.

Here is the club that shoots there - North State Shooting Club

Camp Butner operates the following ranges:
Range 1: Composite Pistol Range - with 50 firing points and automated computer controled 25yd line.
Range 2: Record fire Pistol Range - 10 lane, computer controled and scored.
Range 3: Zero/NBC/Night fire Range - 25 point, (automated computer controled for night fire).
Range 4: 1000Yd Known Distance Range - 50 firing points with motorized pits.
Range 7: Zero range - 32 firing points
Range 8: Record fire Rifle Range - 16 point automated computer controled and scored.

I have been shooting there for years NSSC puts on a good match and they pistol,highpower and F class. there is supposed to be a way to use the range without a club but I am not sure of the procedure.

Done some training there that Ft Bragg wouldnt allow due to the risk. Decent place, the KD range looked nice. The NG guys running the place had this morbidly obese dog there. Wonder if its still kicking.
We stayed out under Mosquito nets near this excellent shower facility. I think it was just built recently. They had a few bedrooms and a trailer next to the admin office.
